*ingredients :

°1/2 cup (125 ml) butter
°1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
°1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
°1/2 cup (125 ml) cream
°35% pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
°2 c (500 ml) powder sugar
°1 c (250 ml) pecans

* Methods : 

Roast the pecans in the oven at 175°C for 5 minutes, then grease an 8 x 8 Pyrex dish and set aside. Mix the butter, sugar, brown sugar, cream and salt in a medium saucepan. Over medium heat until mixture begins to form bubbles. Set the timer and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir the mixture throughout the process, then remove from the heat and add the powdered sugar, vanilla and walnuts. Mix well, pour into a Pyrex dish and leave to cool, cut, and store in an airtight dish.
