Chocolate Chip Cookies 😋😍

The back to school cookies are perfect for back to school, which my daughters enjoy at snack time (because school forbids biscuits or cookies for snacks).


°110g soft butter, at room temperature
°175g chocolate chips (I always add a few on top before baking)
°225 grams of flour
°110 gm brown sugar
°100 grams of sugar
°1 egg
°pinch of salt
°1 teaspoon baking powder

* Instructions:

 Beat the soft butter and sugar until the mixture is fluffy.
Add the egg and beat until fully combined.
Sifting flour with salt & baking powder.
Add flour to the previous mixture and mix everything.
Finally add the chocolate chips and mix everything up (I do this by hand).
Preheat oven to 170°C (350°F)
Using an ice cream scoop (which will be more practical than a regular spoon), place stacks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, taking care to empty them. (It all depends on the size you want to get).
Bake for 8-10 minutes, watching cook, edges should be light brown and surface smooth.
Leave to rest at oven exit for 5 minutes before placing on a wire rack to cool completely.
