We share our secrets about tender and juicy ground beef. This spaghetti and ground beef recipe is the preservative - perfect comfort food!


•1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 80/20
•1 1/2 teaspoon salt
•1/2 teaspoon black pepper
•1 1/2 cups chopped onion
•1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
•1 tablespoon minced garlic
•1 (28 ounce) can tomato puree
•1 can of tomato sauce (16 ounces)
•1 can of tomato paste (6 ounces)
•1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
•1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
•16 ounces spaghetti
•2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
•grated parmesan


1) Heat a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add beef to saucepan, sprinkle with salt and pepper, break up into small pieces with a wooden spoon, and cook until lightly browned. Use a perforated spoon to transfer it to a plate.

2) Drain all but 2 tablespoons of fat from the pan and place over medium-low heat (if you don't have enough fat in the pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil). Add onion, sweet pepper, and garlic, and cook until onion is translucent, 7 minutes.
