Sweet-Hawaiian-Crockpot-Chicken



*Ingredients :


°6 chicken thighs or breast
° 2 tablespoons butter (30 g)
° 1 tablespoon of oil
+ sauce:
° 1 can pineapple, crushed or cubed, with juice (398 ml)
°1/2 cup water (125 ml)
°½ cup orange, peach or pineapple (125 ml)
°3/4 c sugar
° 1 tsp soy sauce 
° 1 tsp chicken concentrate
°1/3 cup of apple juice or wine vinegar (65 ml)
° 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (15 g) dissolved in 2 tbsp.
° 1 tablespoon of water

* Methods : 

Step 1
Season chicken with salt and pepper and brown in butter and oil. Put aside.
The second step
Sauce: Simmer all ingredients except for the starch for 10 to 15 minutes. You will smell a little strong from the vinegar, this is normal.
Step 3
Next, it should thicken with cornstarch mixed with a little water, and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 4
Pour the sauce over the chicken and place in the oven at 350 F, covered, for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Step 5
Served with good rice. This recipe is delicious and even better if it is made the day before. It takes all of its flavor. I like to put sauce on rice..
