°120g sugar cubes
°150g semi-salted butter
°10cl Liquid cream
°180g Flour
°1 sachet Yeast
°3 eggs
*Preparation steps
Place the sugar cubes in a saucepan and heat. Tilt the pan to melt all the sugar, and let it brown over low heat. When it takes on a golden color, add the diced butter and mix vigorously. Let cool.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (th.6). Put the flour in a bowl and mix with the yeast. Make a well in the center then add the whole eggs, cream and caramel and mix well to obtain a homogeneous paste.
Pour the batter into a cake tin, put in the oven and cook for about 35 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
Tip: you can also prepare this cake with 20 Carambar-type caramels that you let melt gently with the cream. Then add 100 g of butter and continue the recipe in the same way.
